The 2lth century is the times of rapid development in knowledge, information, communication and technology. inevitably, the development of science and technology will not only lead to the change in economic structure, industrial strulture and working organization, but also have deep influence on the modes of thoughts, target of cultivation and acceptance of value in the field of vocational education. Meanwhile, reform in curriculum is the way to fulfill thoughts of education and attain target of cultivation. It is the key to improve teaching quality. 揅ollective Module?curriculum, or 揵road basic, movable module?curriculum, proposed and directed by Jiang Naiping, is the most influential curriculum patlern in Chinese secondary vocational education reform nowadays. This article analyzes and studies the theory and practice of the curriculum by comparative analysis, documentation, investigation and induction. This curriculum pattern lays its foundation on quality education. It has ability standard as its guarding ideology and teaching pattern. It aims at the whole vocational span. The curriculum fits the need of Chinese economic development and is in 1is~e with the developing tendency of world vocational education. The curriculum not only fully arouses students? studying initiative and enthusiasm, but also meets the need of students?character development. It will lay~solid foundation for students?subsistence and development in the future. Therefore, study on the theory and practice of the curriculum is helpful to deepen the reform of vocational education and improve the teaching quality of secondary vocational education. It has profound historic and realistic significance.
