High school curriculum reform implemented in Fujian region has been nearly ten years. The new curriculum system in high school chemistry course is divided into required course and elective course. Connecting the knowledge of compulsory contents with that of elective contents is a means of narrowing the gap between modules as well as helping students get prepared for Elective Module in Senior Two. Chemical reaction principle reveals the basic rule of the chemical reaction, embodying the core concepts of chemistry. Consequently, it's imperative that teachers should make a systematic study on the chemical reaction principle in the new curriculum reform of middle school chemistry textbooks. Based on the literature research on existing teaching convergence and by adopting the method of textual analysis, this paper analyzes the standard for high school chemistry curriculum and the teaching content requirements set for Fujian Province, studying the teaching materials in reaction principle and compulsory textbooks. It also looks into the main problems and causes in the convergence teaching process at present by interviewing teachers and doing questionnaires among high school students. Combined with the problems arising from convergence teaching, this paper gives three convergence tactics concerning elective Module Four and the relevant knowledge in compulsory modules:first, understand the curriculum standards, grasping the teaching requirements and selecting appropriate teaching approaches to cohering; second, contrast the textbooks, learning from each other and choosing the merit-based teaching materials for convergence; last, have a good understanding of the learning situation, focus on improving students' thinking ability in chemistry to form a basic chemical concepts in learning. In the end of the paper, I theoretically use two cases which are related to ion reactions in Module 1 and Module 4 as an example to represent how to carry out convergence teaching.
