In order to change the current situation in teaching essay writing in normal schools, without planning, disorderly, not rationally and unsystematic, Based on years' teaching practice and research, the author has created the "Sihua " Training System (STS),which is accumulating extensively, conceiving orderly ,writing in a personal way, accessing multiply. Because traditional essay writing can not combine writing abilities and creative abilities very well, this thesis regards essay writing abilities with supplied materials as training longitude, and creative abilities as latitude, Hence both longitude and latitude may construct a good net. The experiment is a quasi-experiment. The results of the experiment are the following: The new method can directly improve normal school students' abilities in writing essays. As a integrated whole, the experiment can help students to solve series of difficult problems in writing essay with supplied materials : Accumulating extensively solved the problem of "having nothing to write about "; Conceiving ordinal solved the problem of "how to write"; Writing in a personal way solved the problem of "how to write better" ;Accessing multiply successfully solved the problem of correction. With these difficult problems being solved, Students' writing abilities and creative abilities can be improved obviously.
