According to the characteristic and type of exploratory teaching and on the basis of the practice of experimental teaching in junior-middle-school physics, this paper propose the necessity and feasibility of exploratory teaching in junior-middle-school physical experiment. This study doesn't emphasize the course in which students make experiments on their own without any conduction but conducts students to make experiments from partial exploration to the whole exploration. Experimental teaching is divided into students' experimental teaching and performing experimental teaching. This study thinks that we should not only focus on exploratory teaching of performing experiments to which the idea of exploratory teaching is applied, but also focus on teaching of students' experiments, so that students' abilities of exploratory learning could be improved step by step.This paper adopts experimental design of single-factor. Samples are divided into two equal teams including experimental team and controlling team at random. This study is to make sure that wheather exploratory teaching-method has an advantage over traditional teaching-method in junior-middle-school physical experimental teaching. The results of thisexperiment are as follows:1) Exploratory teaching in junior-middle-school physical experiment can obviously arouse students' learning interests in physical experiment.2) Exploratory teaching in junior-middle-school physical experiment can obviously improve students' capabilities of experimental design.3) Exploratory teaching in junior-middle-school physical experiment can obviously increase students' experimental grades.4) Exploratory teaching in junior-middle-school physical experiment can obviously increase students' physical grades.
