The teaching of mathematics is a special process in cognition and Practice. It is represented by a certain form, which is one of the teaching model. Teaching model shows the application of mathematical theories. So it is well worth researching.Based on expounding the relative theories on the maths-teaching models, this article analyses the characters of the modern maths-teaching models. The teaching model that has the basic processes of guiding and creating the questioning environment-discussing and exploring equally between the teacher and the students-solving the problem by the students themselves searching the new and the different to form the circulation (of the knowledge and the question) is basically set up with the foundation of constructivism and the directing idea of Humanist Curriculum Viewpoint. It also deals with the experiment of teaching maths in junior middle school which lasts one year. Through surveying and analysing the results of the exams, it gets the main conclusion as follows:1. This maths-teaching model helps to improve the students interests to learn maths and to change their attitude of study.2. It helps to raise the students' consciousness as the subject.3. It helps to establish the students' multi-abilities to learn maths.4. It helps to increase the junior studets' marks in the maths exams.
