Course teaching is the first priority of school education while teaching material determines the content and quality of course teaching.As a tool and a necessity of learning knowledge,developing skills and teaching,teaching material is vital in class teaching.The promulgation of the new curriculum standard in 2011 gives our education workers a new direction and it is imperative for us to re-examine and interpret textbooks.“Number and Algebra”,the basic field in the textbook,takes the largest proportion in the primary school mathematics teaching material.In this way,the paper focuses on the sample study of “Number and Algebra” in JEP primary school mathematics from the modern concept of mathematics with mainly two kinds of researching method: the documentary method and the content analysis method.After describing the definition of the modern concept of mathematics and sample.From the 4 dimensions of life view,activity view,mode view and culture view,this paper analyzes the number and algebra of Su Ed edition textbook" The degree of matching between field examples and modern mathematics.What's more,the paper mainly studies the teaching research of typical samples in the field of “Number and Algebra”.In this part,“learning of the number within 100”and “addition and subtraction within 20”are mainly analyzed from four perspectives: content of the knowledge,topic maps,problem situation and question list.Finally,the paper summarizes the main characteristics of the examples in the new mathematics textbook of mathematics and mathematics in Su Yi's Edition examples appear in the form of attention to illustrations,examples,situational design,life practice,change the connection between examples.
