After entering into the21century, we have carried out a series of education reforms and curriculum reforms in the background of basic education’s balanced development. Educational fair is becoming the dominant value proposition in the field of basic education. While educational fair is reflected on many aspects of education, the education problem of gender equity has always been a concerned aspect. As the girls have got rid of disadvantages in the past and have come a long way on education, the disparity between girls and boys is constantly expanded. Recent years the boys’academic weakness in the primary school grows more and more popular and it becomes a new global problem out of the regional boundaries in the field of basic education. The foreign researchers have gained rich achievements on both theory and practice. Conversely, the research of the boys’ academic weakness in our country began late and did not get enough attention. Also it is superficial and we get insufficient academic achievement. In this dissertation, the researcher went into a rural elementary school A. By using the method of investigation, I carried out an investigation on students’academic performance in three aspects of class teaching, class management and class activities. This dissertation would present the status of current rural primary school boys’academic development and analyzes the specific performance of the boys’academic weakness. And then I found out the reasons from aspects of boys themselves, school education, family education and social culture. Finally, this dissertation would eliminate the boys’academic weakness in rural elementary school under the guidance of gender equity theory. The specific countermeasures are expressed as follows:Boys should be on themselves constantly, excavate their own latent potential and improve the disadvantageous situation. Schools transform traditional teaching methods and teach students according to their genders. Also they need to establish a diversified system on academic assessment and balance gender proportion of primary school teachers. Teachers learn to wait and expect to help boys and girls overcome their shortcomings by learning from other’s strong points. Family education should change traditional concept of education, decrease the overindulgence to children and combine love with strict. Rural areas need to improve social-cultural ethos and create a positive social environment.
