The headmaster is the soul in his school. A headmaster plays a key role in school. In the process of carrying out the education of quality, the headmaster is very important. The education of quality has put forward a high demand for the headmaster's quality .Did the headmaster quality in Longnan district adapted to demands of the education of quality? With such a question, this research made the middle school headmasters in Longnan district using the research method, investigation method, document analytics method and discussion method, get a investigation and research for the headmaster's quality in this district. Based on a plenty of investigation and analytics the research think that, mat of the middle school's headmasters in Longnan district are good, they have sprit of dedication, good experience about education and management, But the researcher also think that there are many problems in this group. For example, in the side of basics quality, too many headmasters have not get standard diploma; As a whole, the administrations of major ages are, not national; Many headmasters were unfamiliar with their knowledge of subjects. Many headmasters absent wide, knowledge about society and natural science; a part of headmasters absentminded learning and to promote the quality of themselves. In the other they could not to manage with the law policy and regulations , a few of them of it. Many headmasters also poor or out of date in knowledge, a part of them even manage with experience.Meanwhile, the research analyzed the reason of low quality of the headmasters in Longnan district, the author think that there were some reasonfrom objectivity or from subjectivity. They reason from subjectivity are: Many headmasters backward in their educational ideas The main objectivity are the reasons of history and society. Most of them have difficulty to keep pace withterrain. Such as, useful experience in a school and management. headmaster selecting , training , education monitoring and advising evaluating , promote higher office and reasonable mobile of the headmasters have not established a science management mobile of the headmasters have not established a science management mechanism. Such as this type of question, it is difficult to adapted to the demands of the quality education.In the last of the thesis , the author advanced that : we must value how to promote the quality of the headmaster in Longnan district and the author also advanced some strategy as strict fellow: to perfect the system of how to select a headmaster, to perfect the system of how to train of headmaster, to perfect the system of supervising to establish the system of evaluate, ward and punish, promote to high office and establish a system of opening and mobilizing human affairs for the headmasters.
