| Under the circumstance of the new course reformation, issues, such as the continuity of clay figurine culture in art teaching during secondary school, have been obtaining increasing concern from the na tion. Zhao’s clay figurine has a long history dating back to Q in Dynasty. As one of the representatives of folk clay figurine, Zhao’s clay figurine has been popular among people who live in Longyuan. With the process of urban-rural integration, the figurine is faced with a heritage crisis. Therefore, it remains to figure out how to make Zhao’s clay figurine further comprehended and popular in Longyuan. And here comes an opportunity for the figurine when students under the compulsory education are maturing in mental sensibility and world outlook. In terms of educational value, the entry of Zhao’s clay figurine interprets the course reformation better, combining the local features of art teaching with students’ rising aesthetics sophistication.Based on the necessity of the reformation in high school art teaching and the value of Zhao’s clay figurine, this article is aimed to study the adaption of Zhao’s clay figurine in high-school art teaching, by way of researches and arrangement of relative documents. It also covers the author’s reflection, after numerous interviews and assessments, about how to fit the clay figurine in teaching. With Yongping Middle School’s case, the article is to raise student’s enthusiasm in art learning, presenting some specific strategies for the clay figurine’s entry. |
