In pace with the rapid development of the technique of modern science, especially the technique of electronics, multi-medium and net work, the teaching medium has developed from traditional ways like blackboards, wall maps, all kinds of models into various electronic ones as projectors, projecting apparatus broadcast, movie and television etc. And today's multi-media, calculator network and long-distance teaching bestow new contents and connotation on the modern teaching medium. The continuous changes and improvements of the information technique and new theories such as structuralism and multi-intellegence make modern teaching medium play a key part in education. They also provide the teachers as well as the students with different models and plentiful materials for both teaching and studing. Facing the numerous teaching medium, how to make a scientific choice has become a hot topoic now and in the future.The choice of the teaching medium should be based on the characteristics of the knowledge contents, the requests of teaching target, the students' cognition, emotional need and teaching mode etc. The teachers' competence in mastering morden teaching medium and their cognition in the theory of classroom teaching activities aided by technique information, and that of promoting students to compete development are also very important factors to the choice of teaching medium. Moreover, the choice of medium is restricted by teaching efficiency, technique, budget and so on.In numerous factors, study contents and target are the key factors that affect teaching medium choice.Main research of this thesis is about the chemistry teaching, that is how, according to the study contents, teaching target, to determine the medium usage target, and the mutual relation to the three mentioned above. First, from the viewpoint of dissemination, the thesis analysis the relationship among the study contents, teaching target and medium in classroom teaching, recognize the important position of medium choice in teaching.On the basis of the theory, "thethree dimension model of the content of course -target-medium choice", put forward by professors Li kedong, Xie Youru in Beijing Normal University, the thesis tries to establish the three dimension theory model in high school chemistry teaching to adapt to the teaching practice.According to the Chemistry Syllabus of Fulltime Common High School, the thesis divides the study contents of the high school chemistry into six parts: Chemistry common sense, basic concepts, essential theories, chemistry experiment, element and compound knowledge, and problem solution (including chemistry calculation and investigation etc. On the basis of Blooms' classification of perception levels and the characteristics of chemistry course and its present teaching practice, the high school chemistry teaching target is devided into six levels in order from low to high relative to Impression, Knowing, Operating, comprehension, applying and synthesizing. According to the above classification and required level of every study content, "The two dimension model of High School Chemistry study contents"is established , and its characteristics is analyzed in detail.On the foundation of the two dimension model, analsizing the function of medium on the intersection between study contents and teaching target, the author can establish "the three dimension model of high school chemistry study contents-teaching targets-medium's using target". It can help us to make clear the relationship among study contents, target and medium using target. It also can help us to choose proper teaching medium and to make scientific teaching designs.To find proper medium type in chemistry teaching, has investigated the teaching medium choice in five key schools in Xian. Through statistics and analysis, the author summarized the form of "the chemistry study type and medium effect's relation", thereby gets the reasonable and scientific conclusion of medium type choice in chemistry teaching.
