Whether to use the media language in the primary teaching of Chinese as a foreign language has always been a hot research topic in the academic circle.As one of the hot countries of Chinese learning,Thailand has a wide range of Chinese learners and a large proportion of beginners.However,after consulting the literature,it is found that at present,there is little research on the media language for the primary Chinese teaching in Thailand,so the research is particularly urgent on the media language for the primary Chinese teaching in Thailand.As a volunteer of Chinese teacher in Thailand,the author has been teaching primary Chinese for one year in Thailand,and realized the value of this kind of research.Therefore,by investigating 70 volunteer teachers and 260 students in primary Chinese teaching in middle schools in Thailand,the author has studied the acceptance of media language by middle school students in primary Chinese teaching in Thailand and the application of such media language by Chinese teacher volunteers.In order to have a better investigation on the students and teachers,the author uses the scale in five levels to set up different questionnaires for the volunteers of junior Chinese teaching in middle school and the middle school students of junior Chinese learning.The form of questionnaire is network questionnaire.The main content of the teacher questionnaire is divided into four parts: to understand the name and teaching school of Chinese teacher volunteers;to investigate the main factors that affect Chinese teacher volunteers to use Thai as the teaching medium in the primary Chinese classroom;to understand the specific application of Thai as the medium in the primary Chinese classroom teaching;to investigate the specific reasons and methods of media language use in the primary Chinese teaching.The main contents of the student questionnaire are divided into five parts:understanding the basic information of students;investigating the basic conditions of students' Chinese learning and the reasons for Chinese learning;investigating students' proportion perception of the use of Thai language by volunteer teachers in the classroom and their attitude towards the use of Thai language by volunteer teachers in the teaching;understanding the specific operation of the media language-Thai language in primary Chinese Teaching;to investigate the students' perception of the volunteer teachers' use of the media language-Thai in the primary Chinese teaching.In order to ensure the objectivity of the data obtained from the questionnaire,the author has designed many similar questions in the questionnaire,which can better judge the differences between teachers and students in classroom effects.Before the questionnaire was sent out,the reliability and validity of the two questionnaire results were analyzed by SPSS analysis function of "questionnaire star".The results showed that the reliability and validity met the basic requirements of the questionnaire design and ensured the scientificity of the data results.After that,we use "questionnaire star" as a platform to do data statistics and sorting of the effective questionnaire answers.The results of the questionnaire survey show that: most of the teachers and students in the primary Chinese teaching stage of middle school are in favor of using Thai as the teaching medium;the main links of the use of Thai are word meaning explanation,classroom instruction language and text content explanation,assignment and assignment explanation;most of the teachers determine the use of Thai language by feeling the students' Chinese level in class;The usage of primary Chinese teaching in middle school should be controlled at about 20%.Finally,based on the analysis of survey data and our own teaching experience,the author puts forward four suggestions for the use of media language in the primary Chinese teaching of Thai middle school: first,pay attention to the diversity of different methods of using different Thai language quantity in different classes;second,focus on the methodology of using Thai language in teaching;third,attention should be paid to the key of using Thai language in classroom management;fourth,lay emphasis on oral English and the timeliness of Thai language use in written language exercises or tests.At the same time,it summarizes the pertinence,accuracy and suitability of Thai language as the medium language of junior Chinese teaching in middle school.
