This paper is about the comment on postmodernism and the inspiration which it gives to the reform of the universities' moral education under new circumstances. Postmodernism is a trend of thought in philosophy under mordern western civilization. As a school of western philosophy ,it have revealed great vitality spreading all over the world since its existence. Postmodernism is a hot topic which is especially concerned in the domestic cultural circles. And moral education is a key point to the cultivation of qualified people in universities.So we tried to combine postmodernism and universities' moral education together ,and the discussion about the two is showed in this article. .Firstly, it makes a simple introduction of postmodernism, including its engendering time, main sects, characteristics as well as its influence on Chinese cultures. Secondly, this paper analyzes the concept and the importance of moral education so as to bounds its connotation and expounds and proves its importance form several angles. Then it makes a deep analysis of the influences, mainly of the positive ones in this paper, which the postmodernism^ popular ideas give to the universities' moral education. Finally, this paper tries to provide some methods for universities' moral education in such a period, that we are facing the alternation of the type of our society together with the domestic and the international complex circumstances.
