Evaluation is a complex system for it involves several dimensions and should be dynamic. Even on the dimension of Chinese subject learning evaluation, there are still many problems to be explored. The present research focuses on the three problems: understanding of learning evaluation, that is how to understand the basic theory of Chinese learning evaluation; content of learning evaluation, that is what would be evaluated; method of learning evaluation, that is how to evaluate Chinese learning.Based on the idea of serving the people and people's development, the research paid attention to evaluating the promotion of students' Chinese accomplishment.The content of Chinese learning evaluation included three dimensions and five fields. Three dimensions are knowledge and skill, procedure and method, as well as concept of value on emotion attitude. Five fields are learning to read and write, reading, writing, oral communication, and comprehensive study. The research analyzed the content with factor analysis method, and put stress on the entirety, selectivity and openness of the content.To change the thinking mode of Chinese learning evaluation, this research suggests to evaluate Chinese learning with some qualitative methods, such as performance assessment, and portfolio. It also stresses reformation on the items and modes of Chinese examination. The research advocates to set up a system of Chinese learning evaluation which would be feasible for the operating of evaluation.
