The personality traits in human communications refer to the personal psychological characteristics shown in the human communications between an individual and others. A person's behaviors in the human communications can be explained and predicted through measuring such traits. For headmasters, the success of their human communications will affect not only the level of their performance but also the level of the other members' performance and the level of the performance of the whole group. In this thesis, the author aims to set up a structure of the headmasters' personality traits in their human communications, to explore the inner characteristics and to lay a foundation for the further study of such traits and the performance of the headmasters' human communications.After the open questionnaires and researches into some relevant references, the author studies the six dimensions of the personality traits of the headmasters in the human communications and works out the questionnaires to investigate such traits. The result goes as follows:1. These questionnaires are believable and effective. After an analysis of various factors, six dimensions of the headmasters' personality traits in human communications are clearly shown: responsibility, tolerance, sensitivity, self-control, independence and affiliation. 2. Responsibility and tolerance are the two dimensions in the headmasters' personality traits in human communications. The six dimensions are interactional and harmonious.The female headmasters are extremely different from the male headmasters in responsibility. According to the final scores, the female headmasters tend to be3. higher than the male headmasters.4. The headmasters at the different ages are quite different in responsibility, tolerance and sensitivity. In general, the headmasters from 35 to 45 years old have good personality traits in human communications.5. The headmasters with different degrees are extraordinarily different in tolerance. The headmasters with associate college degree are better than those with technical secondary school degree in this respect.6. The headmasters with different number of working years are fairly different in responsibility. Those having worked more than 15 years are better as a whole.
