Nowadays, this country is witnessing an era of rapid change. Morality education in the primary and middle school (MEPMS) has become one focus attracting more and more people's attention. However,we don't know what to do when we face the following problems: the conflict between the official morality and the sub-morality of the students, the conflict between information from society and the backward and stifle knowledge in the textbook of morality education, the difficult integration of the rapidly changing social demands and chained traditional concepts of morality education and so on. What should we do in morality education to react to the deep and great social changes? Especially, what should we do to help MEPMS out of the present dilemma? What should we do in practicing effective morality education?...Because there are so many important and objective problems, we staff of morality education have to reconsider the present morality education.Based on analysis and thought of the obvious problems in MEPMS, this article tries to explain the following viewpoint, namely we must turn a critical prospective of morality education to a constructive one. The article includes four sections.Part I mainly deal with the outstanding problems existing in present MEPMS, which state the obvious facts-low efficient in morality education.Part E analyze the causes of low efficient in MEPMS in three respects of society home school, which emphatically analyze the nine problems in MEPMS.Part HI is the kernel of the paper, which puts emphasis on theoretical discussion concerning four aspects: Education and its ultimate aim; Morality education and the function of morality; Cognition of characteristic of teachers Cognition of nature of students.Part IV ,based on above-mentioned, the author put forward constructive suggestions: morality education should pay close attention to mental world of students, morality education should stand on platform based on culture , morality education should return to life.Being personal opinion, the paper has many immature points, which still needs the criticism of those masters in the field of morality education.
