The article gives a careful and full analysis on how it improves student's oral communication ability and reading skills from the special view of Chinese teaching. Through the theoretical analysis of the inquiry-learning course, in the light of the Senior One student's condition in LANHUA No. 1 middle school of oral communication ability and reading skills, the article makes a discussion from the way the Inquiry learning course can effectively improve student's cognition, communication ability. It also divide the cognition into the ability of distinguishing sound, listening memory and understanding; listening appraisal and the ability of organizing content, making sentence of speaking, using body language while speaking. The article also divides the communication ability into listening, expression and repartee skills to make an analysis. Through the questionnaire, the result shows that enquiry learning course can make the students' reading content from single to plural, make their reading scope (reading time and reading space) from close to open, and it also makes the quantity of students' reading books increase fast and the students' reading skill improve apparently.During research, according to different reading aims, reading skill can be decomposed into five specific abilities, including searching for browsing reading skill, learning inquiring reading skill, appreciating and evaluating reading skill; creating and applying reading skill, recreational pastimes reading skill. At the same time, it gives some deep thinking on correctly dealing with the relations between the inquiry learning course and a branch of learning course during the practical operation. This inquiry can effectively change students' weak condition of oral communication ability and reading skills, it also benefits to carry out new course ethic and greatly helps to enhance students' Chinese quality.
