The Chinese Oral-communication Module in primary school has aroused plenty interests since the reform of course design begins.Many scholars and front-line teachers pay close attention to different fields under this topic: the history and development of oral-communication,the teaching materials and contents,and even the related teaching and learning methods,all of which have contributed a lot to the teaching and development of the Oral-communication.The author believes that the oral-communication teaching effect depends a lot on the integrity of the course design.In consideration of the targeted solution and practicability to the research problems,the author narrowed down to only one district in Guangzhou City.The researching procedure are listed as following: first,with the help of tutor,data attained from questionnaire were analyzed and questions related to Integrated Course Design were put forward;secondly,based on the study and Module 4C/ID of Doctor JerbenJ.G.van Merrienboer from Open university of the Netherlands and Sanne Dijkstra from University of Twente,the author deepened the ten Integrated Course Design steps,evaluated the value and future effects of the four preset questions;and attempted to brief the ten steps of 4C/ID into 8 steps;finally applied the above mentioned method into the oral communication courses in Book 1,Grade 5 in primary school to testify the effectiveness of the method,with the aim of improving the situation of oral communication teaching in the front-lineWith the teachers' support in the primary schools,the author conducted 2 months teaching with the model and attained great effect: the integrated course design does increase the teaching quality;and better feedbacks and former related improvements also were achieved.
