At present, Chinese teaching is transiting from education for testing to quality education. In order to adapt to this trend, I believe that we should cultivate the students' language ability first.It is in line with the point of view of Lu Shu-xiang- "The main task of Chinese teaching is to cultivate the students' ability of sense of language from all aspects". Because individual language ability is mainly expressed on his sense of language. What is it on earth? How to cultivate? The reform in Chinese teaching is being faced with these new problems. From the height of the humanism of the subject of Chinese, we expect to discuss its quality and function. We also hope to cultivate it in Chinese teaching. Only in this way, can we improve the students' Chinese ability and quality.The thesis is composed of foreword, main body and conclusion, and the main body is further divided into four parts.Foreword gives an introduction to the significance and value of writing the thesis.The first part is about the concept and characteristics of sense of language .By defining its concept and generalizing its characteristics, this part answers what is sense of language. It is the users of language who produce in the course of the practicing and learning of the language to understand to the speech, synthesis overall language ability of intuition that speech turn into. Characteristics of sense of language include the nature of intuition, individual, reason, practice and comprehension mainly. In addition, humanity, creativity and emotion, etc., included. This part is a theoretical foundation of the whole thesis.The second part dwells on its important function in the study of the language. Setting about from the main task of cultivating sense of language in Chinese teaching, this part expounds judgment function, understanding function, calling forth feeling function and appreciating beauty function of sense of language of inputing as well as modeling function and controlling function of sense of language of outputing. I have also described brieflythe type of it before describing function of it. This part answers why I describe the subject under discussion.The third part focuses on the psychological mechanism and way of acquiring sense of language. The psychological mechanism is the schema of sense of language and implicit learning. The way is practice and analysis of sense of language. It answers how to form sense of language in this part.The fourth part illustrates the systems and methods that sense of language cultivates in Chinese teaching. This is the practical part of the full text, which is home of theoretical question that the document probes into before. Chinese teaching should cultivate students 4 kinds of ability of Chinese: listen, say, read and write, and sense of language is the core of the ability. Thus, proceeding with the training activities of these 4 kinds of forms, this part expounds respectively the methods of cultivating of sense of language in listening, speaking, reading and writing teaching. Besides answering how to train it, I have expounded the goal, level and principles of cultivating sense of language, too.In the conclusion, I have expounded the function and significance of strengthening the cultivation of sense of language. It calls and expects reform in Chinese teaching to walk on the way where sense of language cultivated.
