While the intellectual Economy is shaping up, the learning revolution is surging forward, and a new round of curriculum reform has set sail, Inquiry Learning comes into being. On the basis of a rational review of the current situation of physics teaching and feature of Inquiry Learning, the dissertation tries to explore the way and approach of Inquiry Learning for students in physics teaching, and explore practice by educational experiment with two classes of grade one of senior high school ,and analyses the results after two months, aiming at enhancing physics efficiency of teaching and learning, proposing to change the study mode of students and the education idea of students as the subjects of Inquiry Learning so as to accomplish the ideology of "everything for the development of students", developing students' created consciousness and practical ability, improve their literacy of science ,foster their view of lifelong learning.The dissertation is made up of four parts.The first part is about discussing theories of Inquiry Learning ,with the current situation of physics teaching, the author expounds the practical significance to change the old study mode of students and train students to put up Inquiry Learning, compares Inquiry Learning with Reception Learning, discusses the theoretical basis of Inquiry Learning, discovery learning of Bruner, significance learning of Ausubel and constructivism being the psychological basis, the theory of lifelong education and the theory of principal part being the pedagogical basis.The second part is about the testing of students' learning level before developing Inquiry Learning. The author carries out educational experiment in grade one of senior high school, and tests the real level of the whole grade one of senior high school before experiment, compares the experimental class with the relative class by pedagogical stat and measure, confirms that their learning level is almost equal.The third part is about the exploration of the ways and means to carrying outInquiry Learning in physics classroom teaching. The author studies the subject separately by means of training the ability of students to put forward questions, constructing the pattern of Inquiry Learning in class teaching, putting up subject research, making use of IT to implement Inquiry Learning under Webquest and implementing evaluation.The fourth part is about an analysis of the results of practical exploration. By two months' practical exploration, the author compared the experimental class with the relative class and found that the achievement of school work and physical mental ability of the experimental class is much better than the relative class. This result shows that Inquiry Learning makes for training students to study independently, mental ability, fanciful ability, analytical ability and practical ability. In the end, the author also recites her experience in exploration research .
