In April, 2001, "The implement guide in ordinary 'Research-study' of high school" -was published by the Ministry of National Education. And then research-study is planned into the full-time study in high school. In June, 2001, "The outline of basic education course reform(try)" was followed to be issued. They marked the beginning of the subjects reform. With the intensification of the reform,research-study has become popular in the field ofeducation. It lays stress on the students and attachesimportance of the students initiative study, reasoningand creation. It focuses on the students creativity,reasoning, cooperation, social intercourse and scientific spirit. It aims to cultivate the students' responsibility to the society, so it is open, inquisitive, independent and of process.In September, 2001, Research-study was started in Grade One in NO. 11 Middle School. The aim is to let research and study promote mutually. So a guiding groupof five teachers was formed, in while I became the group leader. During the two years' practice and research,we used study method to study the subjects, the students and their behavior. We have got some experience andsuccess, but we have also found some problems.This thesis is based on the practice and research inNO. 11 Middle School. It analyses the significance and situation of Research-study and puts forward a preliminary plan for the Research-study in NO. 11 Middle school. And it also sums up our phasic experience and analysis some cases to raise the problems so as to find a way to solve them.
