The doctrine of the mean is an important chapter of the book of rites,and it was established as an official of doctors as early as the western han dynasty.Since it was included in the four Confucian books by zhu xi in the southern song dynasty,it has been an important part of the imperial examination from the yuan dynasty to the late qing dynasty.It has deeply influenced generations of scholars and played a very important role in the ideological and moral education of traditional Chinese society.In accordance with the instruction of General Secretary Xi Jinping on "promoting the creative transformation and innovative development of excellent traditional Chinese culture,and continuously improving the ideological consciousness,moral level and civilized quality of the people",this paper tries to explore the moral education concept and its contemporary value in the doctrine of the mean,so as to enhance the pertinence and effectiveness of contemporary ideological and political education.The doctrine of the mean,based on its philosophical foundation of the mutual connection between heaven and man's life and the cultivation of morality and morality,develops four distinctive moral education concepts,namely aesthetic moral education,attitude moral education,life-oriented moral education and refined moral education,and provides corresponding practical methods.First is the aesthetic moral education concept,its main content is to shape the gentleman and the sage as the center of the aesthetic ideal personality and the aesthetic moral realm of integrity and peace,into their own.Through its influence and charisma to stimulate the scholar's inner sense of nobility and the spiritual pursuit of becoming a sage.The practical methods are zhonghe to aestheticize the ideal state,emphasizing poetry teaching to arouse aesthetic moral emotions,and setting an example to encourage scholars to see the wise and think the wise.The second is the concept of attitudinal moral education,whose main content is to emphasize the fundamental position of attitude in the progress of people's ideology and morality,Not only pay attention to the educatees to establish a correct attitude in learning,but also require the educators to use a good attitude to influence the educatees.Its practice method is to keep the heart of caution and fear to curb the spread of bad ideas,always do not deceive the real ability to become their own progress,emphasizing the selection of good stubborn to develop a firm and indomitable will.The third is the concept of moral education in daily life.The main content is to emphasize the transcendent aestheticism of personality and the pursuit of realm must be based on the daily life,and to advocate the most common daily life to understand the virtue,cultivate the virtue,achive the virtue.Its practical method is to keep the virtue in daily life,in all kinds of circumstances to keep their true colors,keep their prime position,in the interpersonal communication words and deeds,always consistent.Finally is fine moral education concept,main content is to emphasize the requirements of the pursuit of the general and exert subtle organically,advocated by operational system to achieve moral education lagged fine implement down small in daily life.The practical method is to teach students according to their aptitude,improve the ideological and moral realm step by step,and use the method of practice to achieve the small fall of virtue.Although the doctrine of the mean has been written for two thousand years,its distinctive moral education concept still has a high moral value in the contemporary era,and has a strong reference significance to enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education.We can draw lessons from the aesthetic moral education concept of the doctrine of the mean,stimulate the inner sense of nobility and the desire to see the wise and think the same,and promote the self-improvement of the educated through the rational use of the noble characters and shining deeds of the heroes and models.By referring to the moral education concept of attitude in the doctrine of the mean,we can infect the educatees with the correct attitude of the ideological and political educators,and promote the transformation of the educatees' attitude to promote the transformation of their thoughts and behaviors.By referring to the concept of moral education in daily life in the doctrine of the mean,and by means of network social platform and network technology,it guides the
