This paper mainly studied the rules of Free Radical metabolism in the human blood and urine of the students from different departments. All parameters were observed before, after the exhaustive exercise and in the next morning, respectively. The study combined sports experiment and biochemical analysis. We took 15 P.E. department students and 15 other department students of Shanxi University as the test targets. They were asked to complete the exercise task which started with 50 watt and increased 50 watt every three minutes until they had exhausted their energy on the Sensormedics 2900 metabolic measurement cart. At the same time, air exhaled and inhaled were collected to analyze physical state. After the blood and urine were collected and handled, MDA and SOD reagent boxes were used to monitor the quantity of MDA and SOD in the biochemical laboratory. All the data were analyzed with SPSS statistic method. These results were as follows: First, among these physical parameters,- such as VO2max.W. and working time of P.E. group were much higher than those of normal group (p<0.01).Second, exhaustive exercise has some effects on the blood and urine of the two groups. During the whole process, blood MDA and urine SOD of the two groups took on the same tendency, while blood SOD and urine MDA of them differ a lot. After the exercise: blood MDA of the both groups dropped much significantly (p<0.01). On the contrary, urine SOD increased deeply (p<0.01). Blood SOD was higher than that before the exercise, its change in normal group was significant (p<0.05) and that was more significant in P.E. group. In the next morning: all the parameters of P.E group have no significant change compared with that after the exercise. At the same time, in normal group, blood MDA increased but urine SOD, blood SOD and urine MDA decreased significantly (p<0.05). In the next morning, blood MDA of the two groups were lower much significantly than that in the quiet state, but urine SOD of P.E. group was exactly different from it, which was higher much significantly (pO.Ol). For normal group, urine SOD was still higher significantly (p<0.05). Blood SOD and urine MDA have no significantly changes. Third, the same parameters of blood and urine have no correlation in different states, either wholly or in groups. In short, we can conclude:1. After exhaustive exercise, physical quotas in P.E. group are superior to those in normal group. Maybe it's related to their inborn well-bodybuilding and longtime exercise training.2. The biochemical reflects to the exercise in both groups have not only general characters but also individual characters. In general, blood parameters are mere sensitive and accurate than urine parameters. Compared with normal group, blood SOD of P.E. group mobilized quickly and changed obviously. Urine SOD of the two groups has different changes. Blood MDA has same change tendency in both groups, but urine MDA took on the obvious distinction. All theseindicate that RE. group has superiority in exercise capability and at metabolism level.3. After exhaustive exercise, the same parameters of blood and urine have no correlation. Using urine parameters to react free Radical metabolism is not sensible. Blood parameters are more sensitive and accurate in practice.
