Objective:To explore the effects of Tea polyphenols Supplement on Serum Inflammatory Cytokines in Rats Performing Once Exhaustive Exercise.Methods:Twenty four Clean grade male SD rats, after 5 days Adaptive feeding, were randomly divided into three groups according to weight:control group (C, n=8), exhaustive exercise group (E, n=8), exhaustive exercise with Tea polyphenols (F,n=8).The F group was treated with gavage administration of tea polyphenols 300mg/kg/d for 4 consecutive weeks. Whereas C and E groups were treated with equal dose of placebo. C group don’t do any exercise intervention, E and F groups were Performed Once exhaustive exercise at the end of the experiment. Record the time to exhaustion of every rats in E and F groups. Blood samples were collected for the evaluation of IL-1β、TNF-α, IL-10 and CK、LDH.Results:1、Compared to E group, the average time to exhaustion of F Group is slightly longer than E group, but there is no Significant difference between them(p> 0.05).2、Compared to C group, the serum CK and LDH level of E group were significantly increased after exhaustive exercise (P<0.05);Also, serum CK, LDH of F group increased, but compared with C group, there was no significant difference (P> 0.05).Compared with E group, the serum CK and LDH levels in F group were significantly decreased (P<0.05).3、Compared to C group, the serum pro-inflammatory factor IL-1β of E group after exhaustion exercise has a upward trend, but generally has no significant change when compared with C group(P>0.05), while the level of serum TNF-a is significantly increased (P<0.01); the serum IL-1β of F group has no obvious difference with C group, only small changes (P>0.05), and the serum TNF-a has a rising trend in the C group, but appeared no statistical difference (P>0.05). Compared to E group, the serum IL-1β and TNF-α levels of F group were significantly decreased (P<0.05).4、Compared to C group, the serum anti-inflammatory factor IL-10 level of E and F groups after exhaustive exercises were all significantly increased (P<0.05). compared with E group, the serum IL-10 level of F group almost has no change (P>0.05).5、Compared to C group, The serum IL-10/TNF-α ratio after exhaustive exercise in E group is lower than C group, and in F group the ratio is higher than C, but there are no statistical difference between them (P>0.05). while compared to E group, the ratio of F group improve a lot, appearing significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusions:1、the 4 weeks tea polyphenols intervention can effectively protect against muscle damage which caused by exhaustive exercise.2、During exhaustive exercise, tea polyphenols has a strong anti-inflammatory effects it performance that 4 weeks tea polyphenols intervention can significantly inhibit the release of pro-inflammatory factor IL-1β and TNF-α.3、Exhaustive exercise has a little influence on the systematic inflammation, but 4 weeks tea polyphenols supplement can obviously increase the serum IL-10/TNF-α ratio during exhaustive exercise, making body appear anti-inflammatory state.
