A Research On The Intel～(?) Teach To The Future And The Teachers' Training Of New Curriculum Reform

Intel @ Teach to the future is a training plan for teachers, which Intel Inc sets up in the world in January 2000.It bases on the modern techniques; it regards students as the core of teaching; it teaches teachers how to carry out inquiry curriculum and design informational teaching which make students learn knowledge by resolving problems. Its purpose is to improve teachers 'information quality and practical ability of informational teaching design. Intel@ Teach to the future make students learn knowledge by resolving problems and finishing their tasks; it emphasizes personal free learning and cooperation to resolve problems together; it offers different kinds of background for students' study by real tasks; it make students become interested in learning and using their brains. The students make their knowledge active in the process of resolving problems and finishing their tasks, they also make their knowledge become an effective tool which can resolve problems. In doing so, they not only learn knowledge but also master methods. The most serious challenge which our education faces is not technique or resource, but teachers' consciousness. Intel @ Teach to the future is the very key to renew it. Its target is effective; its process is active; its method is informational, its resource is increments,all of them play an important role. It offers students a teaching approach which they can learn. After investigation, I found that Intel@ Teach to the future is a successful training item which are popular with teachers. Whether the new curriculum reform is carried out successfully or not is effected directly by teachers' training. What's the result of such an important teachers' training for the new curriculum reform? Whether the Intel @ Teach to the future can give some experiences to teachers' training for the new curriculum reform is my beginning point of study. We have research on the present conditions of teachers' training for the new curriculum reform by investigation, interview and looking up reading materials. After analysis, we found that teachers' training for the new curriculum reform is successful in many aspects, but it also has some problems: the teachers' training perceptions are not new, training model is not creative, training administration is not perfect, training resource is not well explored. In order to learn from Intel @ Teach to the future, we made a conclusion in some aspects such as training task, training content,carrying out of training, the relationship between trainers and the persons who are being trained. At the same time, we come up with six useful strategies which Intel @ Teach to the future stimulates teachers' training for the new curriculum reform: (1)Renew training trustee to establish the mental basis ; (2)Make training method perfect to lay an successful material foundation;(3)Strengthening trainers' training to make training carry out successfully;(4)Enrich training resource to make training more effectively ;(5)Standardize training administration to guarantee training successfully;(6)Optimize the training process to consummate the training motivity. Intel@ Teach to the future display a new educational trustee for us. It innovates the training form, moreover, it transforms the educational ideology. Teachers are the key of new curriculum reform. The teachers having high level can ensure the successful perform of new curriculum reform. So it is our important task to cultivate teachers successfully and effectively in a very long time. We can get a good illumination from Intel@ Teach to the future. We hope our research and inquiry can offer some useful and valuable references for teachers' training of the new curriculum reform.
