On Cultural Reconstruction Of Xiamen Foreign Language School Under The New Course System

This paper is divided into four chapters, discussing the cultural reconstruction of our school in ideology, system of education, political activities, and environmental protection. The study of the four subjects is closely integrated with new course system. In view of modern educational concept, and in theory of modern education and teaching, I make a systematic exposition of implementation of new courses(including school-based curriculum)and reconstruction of the school culture, both of which interact as help. Needs aimed at meeting the quality-oriented education, I give theoretical support to the cultural recostruction of Xiamen Foreign Language School and the schools of the same kind, creating a good cultural environment for reform of basic courses. Basing myself upon our school during the discussion, I express my own views on vulnerable or blank spots on the basis of analyzing the cultural realities of our school. I also put forward some constructive suggestions, for example, on the perfect measure for teacher employment system, protection system of the second classroom activities, improvement of social practice activities, interpersonal relationships on the campus, and improvement of the moral cultural environment and so on.
