Foreign Language Majors Offer A Curriculum System For Sports Operations And Management

Sports as an international project,with a long-term development direction,the market in the sports industry,consumption,services and other aspects of the needs for international talent.In other words,talents who understand both the foreign language and sports expertise are in great need,so as to lay a solid foundation for the development of sports industry in China.In March 2000 the Ministry of Education promulgated the "College English Syllabus" which pointed out the objectives of China's high school English professional training,namely the cultivation of compound talent who has a solid foundation of English,a broad knowledge about English culture,and can skillfully apply those knowledge to translation,teaching,management,and research in the use of English in foreign affairs,education,trade,culture,science and technology,military and other departments.In 21 st Century,the world competitive sports is accelerating at a quicker pace,and,China's sports industry and international exchanges is becoming increasingly more frequent.All those has put forward higher request on compound talent.Only those with more than two professional knowledge and skills,and these knowledge and skills have reached a fairly skilled level rather than a simple understanding and mastery,can be regarded as the true sense of the compound talent".The establishment of Sports Service and Management in Foreign Language department is to cultivate foreign language talent with a fairly good understanding of physical education,such as the “"foreign language+” teaching mode.This combination of foreign language and physical education is conducive to the development of foreign language graduate as well as the organic combination and mutual penetration between knowledge and ability,finally achieving the state of mastery.Combined with the current situation,using a variety of methods of literature,questionnaire and mathematical statistics,this paper analyzed the role played by "foreign +" talent in promoting the development of society,focused on the reform of foreign language professional talents training mode and the research on the curriculum of sports service and management,explored how to cultivate high-quality compound talents and came to the conclusion that as the most important tool for international communication,English plays a key role in in the Olympic Games,international tournament held,the rapid development of national sports goods industry,and the spread of sports news.The trend of globalization and diversification of sports shows that the combination of foreign language and physical education is imperative.The ”Foreign language + sports” course system is to integrate foreign language and physical education,foreign language training being the basis,which keeps foreign language training as the foundation while adding new elements to it.The combination of basic skills and development direction is the product of the social demand,and a kind of innovative course system under the development of globalization.
