The methods of documental and comparative research are used in this thesis. At the beginning of the thesis, there is a comparison of probability and statistics in mathematics curriculum standards between China and America, then, on the basic of the comparison, there is a more deep study about some process standards. The creative work of the thesis is: firstly, the writer made a more coherent and particular comparison about probability and statistics in mathematics curriculum standards between China and America; secondly, a few of suggestions about probability and statistics are given to the teacher of china.The thesis consists of three parts:Part one. A simply introduction of mathematics curriculum standards of China and America.In this part, the writer introduced the background, peculiarity and framework of the mathematics curriculum standards in China and America.Part two. A comparison of probability and statistics in mathematics curriculum standards between China and AmericaIn this part, the writer makes a particular comparison about probability and statistics in mathematics curriculum standards between China and America. It including the goal of install, content, ability in mathematics and so on.Part three. A study of probability and statistics in mathematics curriculum standards between China and America.On the basic research of the part two, there is a deep study about some difference, for example, communication of mathematics of probability and statistics, the statistics reasoning, the problem solving. At last, the writer gives some suggestions to the teacher of china.
