It's a trend that integrated curriculum is designed to be a main part of basic educational curriculum structure of 21st century in many countries. China is also such a sample. Integrated science curriculum, integrated arts curriculum and comprehensive practical activities have already been the important part of primary and high school curriculum in China. The study object of this thesis is integrated science curriculum of junior high school. This thesis pays great attention to the history of integrated science curriculum of junior high school, and attempts to achieve three purposes. The first purpose is to know integrated science curriculum more clearly through the analysis of meaning and value of integrated science curriculum of junior high school. The second purpose is to open out the development laws and investigate into the experience and problems of integrated science curriculum through the analysis of history of integrated science curriculum of junior high school. The third purpose is to make some suggestions to the problem of science teachers.This thesis consists of three chapters. Chapter 1, "summarizing on integrated science curriculum of junior high school", is for the first purpose. It mainly discusses the meaning, types, characteristics, value and necessity of integrated science curriculum of junior high school.Chapter 2, "reviewing and analyzing on phylogeny of integrated science curriculum of junior high school of china", mainly discusses the history, experience and lessons of integrated science curriculum of junior high school. Integrated science curriculum of junior high school of Shanghai, Zhejiang and new century is the emphasis of this thesis. And historical reviewing, lengthways comparison and experiential summarization are outspreaded through the two sides of curriculum design and curriculum implementation.Chapter 3, "the problem of science teachers--the bottle-neck of curriculumimplementation of integrated science curriculum of junior high school in 21st century", mainly brings forward some countermeasures and suggestions to the problem ofscience teachers--the largest obstacle of curriculum implementation of integratedscience curriculum of junior high school.
