The theory of Learning Organization , a totally new theory developed from business management and practice in 1990s , has been considered as a management model of enterprises , Peter .M. Senge is the master in this field . His masterpiece , The Fifth Discipline : The Art and Practice of the Learning Organization which was published in 1990 marked the appearance of this theory as well as the foundation of the study . Five discipline were put forward in this book : Personal Mastery , Improving Mental Models , Building Shared Vision , Team Learning , System Thinking . The theory of Learning Organization has been widely recognized and utilized , and spread far and widely since it came into being .Currently , Chinese education is at the crossroads of golden opportunities , and rigorous challenges . As the special sector , schools assume the responsibility of creating , spreading and applying knowledge and rearing talents . How to develop them is a new problem before us in the new millennium . Taking the development of society . drawbacks in the school management, and the characteristics of, contemporary school education into consideration , a shift to the Learning Organization has come to be an inevitable trend . It is absolutely necessary for the vocational schools , to broaden the scope of the development of vocational schools , to set up a learning vocational school with the help of the theory in practice .It is feasible and urgent to establish the Learning Organization in the vocational schools . It is not only possible but also necessary to construct the learning vocational schools , and look forward to the developing prospects of the vocational education in our country . The constructing of the learning vocational schools should understand enough its essence and organizing structure characters , than puts the emphasis on the construction and the operation of the learning vocational schools , think highly of the constructing principles , conditions , methods and steps of the learning vocational schools , the internal and external factors when running it and its operating system , and the changes in the roles of school leaders , teachers and students . It proves that the vocational schools can complete construct the Learning Organization that some living examples about some testing employments of the Learning Organization theory in students management and vocational schools management . But there are some existing questions during constructing the learning vocational schools, and raise some countermeasures and suggestions . The end summarizes the total essay.
