Our new subject criterion pointed out: "Writing is an important method of using literary language to express ourselves and communicate with others. It is a process of knowing the world, understanding ourselves and creatively expressing ourselves. Writing ability is the comprehensive reveal of our Chinese accomplishment." However, for years, even though many specialists, scholars and the front line teachers are all keeping eyes on that, writing is still a prominent problem for our pupils.This article, from various aspects, tries to analyze the mistakes in our composition writing and put forward the possible solutions to it. There are five parts in the article:The introduction analyzes the present state of our primary school's composition, and states that our primary school's composition teaching is worth paying much more attention to.The first part points out the meanings, aims and tasks of our composition teaching.The second part concludes all kinds of mistakes in our composition teaching. Analyzes the causes of these mistakes, which include traditional education principles, improper teaching and evaluation system. The influence from history and society makes the students gradually lose interest in writing, so it is difficult for them to improve their writing ability.The third part mainly analyzes the composition reform and development both in domestic and at abroad, lists the important education principles and trends. That is, we should emphasize the students' subject consciousness, pay more attention to the connection between composition teaching and life and society, develop their personality to help our students grow happy and healthy.The fourth part puts forward the possible solutions: reforming ourteaching principles, respecting the students' subject consciousness, closing to the students' life. Besides that, we should reform our writing teaching and its evaluation system, seize the chance of worldwide setting up again the humane spirits to develop our primary school's composition teaching, whose reform methods are also discussed here.The last part, a summary to the whole article, lists the study limitations and the writer's hopes for our composition teaching reform.
