Curriculum assessment is the course of study on curriculum value which consisted of those activities being used to judge the curriculum value on improving students'study. Curriculum implementation refers to the process of taking curriculum program into practical teaching. It is the basic way of approaching expected curriculum aim. Students' assessment is a main part of curriculum implementation and essential guarantee of instruction process advancing positivly and developing smoothly. It directly works on students' development and influents teacherts' improvement. As a whole, students' assessment is being inportence to ensuring educational instructing qulity.The study of life-orientated curriculum assessment describes the shortage of students' assessment in today's school education. Based on the thought resources of educational phylosophy, educational sociology and curriculum therapy study, the paper enriches the psychological conception of students' deveopment. At the same time the it observes the disadvantages of assessment actitivities under traditional idea and analyses the main characteristics of discriminative evaluation.Seeing it, the paper presents a view that students' assessment activity is being in front of reorganization and teachers' assessment practical wisdom is facing to be released and developed. Then it puts forward that life-orientation of curriculum assessmemnt will be helpful to promote and porpularize assessment for students'development. Life-orientated assessment advocates super-formal evaluation way, emphasizes assessment passing curriculum and stepping life , so as to provid more chances of valueable guidance for students and teachers' possible life.The paper masters the growing new point of new curriculum idea in basic school education curriculum reform and scrutinizes the curriculum reform background which comprehensive practical activity provides to life-orientated assessment. Then it inspects and analyzes the subject curriculum's new changs in assessment item, assessmemt content and assessment method, which is the main curriculum style in today's school education. Basing on above narratation, the paper insists that teacher should penetrat life-orientation's idea to the students' assessment activity, make curriculum assessment step into students' realistic daily life, promote students' assessment for development deepenning students' possible life. In one words, it is necessary and inportant for the study on curriculum assessment to transform from methodological meaning to ontological value.The study on life-orientated curriculum assessment not only clarifies the new requirements of curriculum reform to assessment idea, but also reflects students' assessment's reasonable choice in front of students' active growth and teachers' professional development.
