With the development of the knowledge economy, knowledge science shows its importance increasingly. The tacit knowledge, as the important component of the knowledge, exists in all knowledge fields extensively, its position and its function can't be ignored. To know the relative regulations of knowledge, especially the regulations between tacit knowledge and knowledge innovation, it shows more important guiding functions to the graduate education, which regards training student's innovative ability as the core. The paper starts with dating to the basic relation between tacit knowledge and explicit knowledge and four basic knowledge innovations in transformations, it illustrates the important function of tacit knowledge in knowledge innovation. The article analyzes one of the important reasons why the innovative ability is weak in graduate education in China presently. That is to say, the training and passing of tacit knowledge are ignored in some important stages in graduate education. After analyzing its important relations, this paper gives rise to the ways and methods that enrich graduate student's tacit knowledge and also improve graduate student's innovative ability from four aspects: knowledge sharing, science and research ability, graduate student's tutor, self-studying.
