Innovation is a kind of specific cognitive ability and practical ability of human being,playing a significant role of accelerating the form and reform of people's world views and ideals,promoting the development reform of social productivity as well as social relations.So it is the core power of the ongoing development of the society.Playing an important part in the national innovation system,the innovation ability of postgraduate can not only directly influence the knowledge innovation levels of institutions of higher learning,but also influence the overall national innovation ability in the future.However,there are many problems in the process of innovation ability training presently.One of the major problems about the education quality of postgraduate is the lack of innovation.Most postgraduate students are still habituated to receiving,understanding and mastering the existing knowledge.There is a deficiency of critical insight,the ability of questioning teachers and the ability of innovative thinking.The lack of unique understanding and original achievement academically hinders the innovativeness of postgraduate students' academic papers to reach the expected level.Besides,some academic moral problems appear among the postgraduate students attribute to unhealthy social styles and the deficiency of innovation ability.This results make it necessary to further study and research on the current situation and major problems about the training of postgraduate students' innovation ability and to find specific solutions based on this researches.However,data shows that the overall innovation ability of postgraduates can't keep pace with the expending scale of postgraduate education.What's worse,the innovation ability level of postgraduate students can't meet the need of employers.So the discussion on how to improve the innovation ability of postgraduate students id urgent and important,needing the concerns from all fieldsFocused on the innovation ability of postgraduate,this study puts forward some effective measures for the training of postgraduate students' innovation ability based on the research about the current situation,influence factors and efficient actions of the innovation ability.The objects of the study are postgraduates from S university.Firstly,utilizing the document analysis method,this study theoretically interprets the basic concept and feature,composing elements and functions of the innovation ability.Secondly,applying the questionnaire method,this study practically manifests the current situation,existing problems and causes of the problems of the postgraduate students' innovation ability of S university.Thirdly,using the interviewing method,this study analyzes the underlying causes to the deficiency of innovation ability by interviewing nine postgraduate students from three different grades.Lastly,specific to the existing problems during the process training the innovation ability,this study proposes some responding measures to improve the innovation ability of postgraduate students.
