Network being universally widespread, collegians, as one of the main subjects of network, will face a series of new problems in the course of socialization, which needs sociology to give a new theoretical interpretation and offer a new reply.Since E.Durkheim and Meade, theory of socialization has formed a rather complete and systematic theoretical system after many years' development, and become a theoretical and key paradigm of sociology. So far, rather considerable achievements have been made in China of studying socialization of youngsters, especially of collegians, in which a more attention has been focused on the effect on collegians' socialization by network, the newly rising social medium, producing some theoretical viewpoints and ideas. Yet, it is hardly found that further systematical and theoretical expositions of the relationship between network and collegians are on deviance theory. The dissertation can be said a new trial and attempt to introduce and adopt the deviance theory which has recently risen up in western sociology into studies of collegian' socialization. The dissertation, based on the systematical explorations and discussions of deviance behaviors of collegians, the specific young group, which have appeared in the course of socialization process, tries to discuss the social and individually psychological reasons for this deviance behavior and attempts to put forward several countermeasures for prevention and correction from four aspects: society, school, family and collegians. What is so-called deviance behavior, in the general sense, just means the behavior deviant from a certain social standard. Deviance behavior can sociologically be understood from two senses: broad and narrow. In the broad sense, it means that all social behaviors are deviant from normal or widely accepted social behavior standard within a society or a social environment, which implies not only such hazardous and harmful behaviors to society or others as law breaking, delinquency and so on, but also means a certainly destructible but a distinguishable behavior, like homosexuality and autism and so on. In the narrow sense, it means that individuals are unable to adapt themselves to the normal social life, thus, producing deviant behaviors (mainly including law breaking or delinquency), including breaking laws and even destroying the normal social standard. The dissertation starting from the deviant behavior in the broad sense mainly intends to study deviance, but not in the really delinquent sense. Sociology has witnessed a-long-time history research of deviant behavior, about which a series of influential theories has been produced. E Durkheim, the French sociologist, ever pointed out that when society was in a dramatic shift, and economy was in a rapid rise or drop, its whole system would be destroyed, which resulted in ineffectiveness of social standard as well as people's puzzlement that easily produced a deviant behavior. Robert K. Merton, American sociologist, also pointed out why social problems appeared was not totally due to conflicts in value, nor certainly because of social disorganization, but because of unequal opportunities offered by society to its members for attainment of their aims. Among the Chicago school, the most influential one of researchers, is Sutherland who thinks the deviant behavior in the course of its formation gets the effect by social disorganization, but was not directly caused by social disorganization. He stresses that deviant behavior should be considered in terms of socialization, and only in combination with deviants' model can people learn and study the deviance behavior. Both Merton's and Sutherland' viewpoints either constitute the main framework of the deviance theory in western sociology, or becomes one of the most important theoretical resources for the researchThe dissertation holds it that network not only brings political, economic and cultural changes to society, speeding up progress of globalization and social shift, but also cultivates a...
