Environment education, as an item that has already been carried out for many years, still can not attain the ideals because of difficulties in containing such course in nation's course plan and the diversity among the different regions. The author developed the item on the present reality of environment education by integrating teaching practice and local actuality From the basis of present reality of environment education in our country, integrating the leaching practice and local education condition, the author explored the necessity, possibility and way of implementation of advancing environment education in the senior middle school of developed small town. The author discussed the concept of environment education course on the basis of present condition of environment education and illustrated the importance of it. At the same tine, with the theories of curriculum theory, the article under the premise of sufficient inquisition into the present condition, following the principle of rooting in the school, we drew up the early-period programme and set the purpose, aim, content and the form of course In the practice process, we followed the method of practice-adjustment -practice and got some reasonable teaching forms and some main efficient teaching ways. At the same tine, we attain some principles that should be followed. Then, we got the general conclusion by combining theory analyze and practiceThis question for study puts forwards new modal of teaching set, school-based environment by using the theory study method, positive study method and comparative study method, whose main purpose is to strengthen the environment education in the middle school of small towns in the concrete school environment on the base of the best use of school resources and local social environment It's proved that it greatly improves the length of limitation period and actual practical behavior It is good to develop the students' principal partivities, cultivates the students' active study. At the same time, it effectively improves the responsibility, quality and science-study spirit of the teachers'. What more, it changes the teachers' role in teaching process The problem-based and bi-teaching concerned in this article not only has an active effect on the environment education, but also has good effects on the elementary education. It's obvious effect or latently effect is superior to previous option course of activity class in some degree As one of the important subjects of our province, ithas been made critical phase of achievements, which is of great value in application and dissemination. It also finds a short-out for environment education in middle school and offers an available method in carrying out all-round education.The school-based environment education topic, form of teaching organization and teaching method which has been concerned in the article may solve two basic questions of what should be taught in our school and how to teach in a much more reasonable way. The implementation will make knowledge, behavior and mental activity become one in and out of environment education class. By this we can achieve the unity of knowledge and ability, thoughts and practices.
