On the February of 1997, "opening question -the new pattern of Mathematics teaching "was titled to be one of the key projects of 95 nation-wide educational science programming and the research of the question group was published in 2002. At present, the research about mathematic opening problem and the open type teaching in primary and junior high school have caused the attention of some international personage. Opening question is an effective approach of carrying out open type teaching. Nowadays, there are still some researches in open topics and open type classroom pedagogy etc.This article is to study the open of the content of courses and to further study how the content of open teaching realizes the cultivation of the mathematical innovative thought of students. In order to differentiate it from open type teaching in the general meaning, we call it as open mathematics teaching. Firstly, this article will principally discuss the definition of the open type mathematic teaching on the basis of the theories foundation, main characteristic and the teaching principles ; and this article will combine the teaching practices of the author to further discuss the four relations that the implementation of the open type mathematicsteaching should handle. Secondly, specificly discuss the open mathematics teaching. On the one hand,the aspects that the open mathematics teaching may cover which include the education of mind, the current research progress or achievements of mathematics, the development history of the subject of mathematics the reproduction of the teaching material contents, the guide of learning method " .On the other hand, discuss the implementation of cultivating the students' innovative thinking through the content of open teaching in terms of the dissipate of the thought, the intuition thought and the integration of thought. Finally, with an experiment on the theories foundation of this article, the conclusion corns out as that the project of cultivating the students' innovative thinking through open mathematic teaching is practical and effective.
