The life of educational science lies in educational experiments. In the past few years, the educational reform experiments in our country have developed fast and become an important symbol to measure the development level of our educational science. According to theory research, case study and investigation, the essay provides basic features of the educational reform experiments research and argues its actual effect and drawbacks. It raises some proposal on the basis of reflection and theoretical explore as reference to make it more perfect.At first, the essay provides an outline of the educational reform experiments in Suzhou in the course of the ninth five-year plan. It gives a brief account of the basic features of the educational reform experiments. Then the author analyses the actual effect brought about by the educational reform experiments in the primary schools in Suzhou. The effect is composed of practical improvement, theoretical achievements and reflection on the methods. To improve the drawbacks, the author proposes that we change our sense of education, understand the essence and significance of education research properly, and strengthen the education experiment management and teachers training to make the education experiment research more effective and perfect.
