Exploratory teaching, which sets out from training the students' knowledge and skills, emphasizes on the experience of course and methods and focuses on the forming of the students' emotion, attitude and values. So we pave a new way for the reforming of physics curriculum by introducing exploratory teaching.On the basis of the practice of experimental teaching and according to the characteristic of experimental teaching in junior-middle-school physics and cognition of junior middle students, this study divide the topic of experiment into lots of small tasks. By that, students can experience the course of research in person so that their abilities and skills of exploratory learning could be improved step by step. We can also strengthen the students' cooperation and independent consciousness in exploration.This paper adopts experimental design of single-factor. Samples aredivided inio two equal teams including experimental team and controlling team at random.This study is to make sure that wheather exploratory teaching-method has an advantage over traditional teaching-method in junior-middle-school physical experimental teaching.The results of this experiment are follows:1) Exploratory teaching of small items in junior- middle -school physical experiment can obviously arouse students' learning interests in physical experiment.2) Exploratory teaching of small items in junior- middle -school physical experiment can obviously improve students' capabilities of experimental3) Exploratory teaching of small items in junior- middle -school physical experiment can a little improve students' capabilities of experimental opration.4)Exploratory teaching of small items in junior- middle -school physical experiment can obviously increase students' experimental grades.5)Expkwatory teaching of small items in junior- middle -school physical experiment can obviously increase students' physical grades.
