The competences of innovation, which needs some knowledge in fact, is a kind of intellectual activity as well as a mental inclination exploring the problems actively and positively, also a kind of universal potential which people have. However, the potential transform is depending on the efficient education. There are no formed, steady and specific projects and measures for the training of innovative competences. The subject teaching is a main channel for education. The essential way to train the students ' innovative competences is to realize innovation of teaching subjects. According to the cognition, this dissertation presents such a proposition training students' innovative competences through the course of MTT, and the author has been demonstrating the probabilities and essentialities of students ' innovation abilities training and also proposing some new ideas in the study. The dissertation focuses on how to innovate teaching the course of MTT to adapt to the needs of training students' innovation.In order to keep up with the pace of the educational reform and development in SSTS, and meet the changes of the specialized courses objectives, characters and medical educational models, the students ' innovation competences must be trained nowadays. At the same time, the physical and mental characters of the student' s majored in TestingTechnology have created some conditions for them so that the innovative competences could be trained. And the characters of the course of MTT offer both space and dominance to teacher and students' innovation.The essential approach the course of MTT trains the students innovation abilities is relying on innovation in education. In the teaching practice of the course MTT in SSTS, the author is trying to innovate the teaching materials analyzing the structures of contents, the logical systems of the textbooks, the focuses and difficulties, and the relationship between the theory and the practice of textbooks. To innovate the teaching methods, based on the traditional teaching methods, the author is adopting many new teaching methods flexibly such as Leaving Space Method, Recalling in the Mind Method, Numerating the Lacunae Method, Transforming the Problem Method and Exploring the Problem Method, etc. To innovate the conditions of teaching, the author is creating language situations, problem conditions, real living conditions, artificial clinic testing situations, etc. which could make the students positive studying. Also according to the individual character and personality, the author is focusing on the training of student ' s learning interests, learning strategies and autonomous learning competences. Starting training the students' skills of operation, the author teaches them to recognize the usual pathogenic microbe under the microscope, and understand the chemical and biological reaction of the usual microbes, the reacting principle and testing result of serology. Since the last term, it is proved that the students' integrated skills and theory knowledge have been advanced. The students ' competences, like observation, experimentation, thinking innovation, cooperation and exploration and self-reflection, have been developed, so it is probable and necessary to train the students' innovative competences in the course of MTT.
