Both the teaching as the task for training of key competences and the teaching assessment as the goal of training of key competences are the request of new curriculum reform.Educative evaluation is necessary for the training of key competences of high school biology.This paper,from theory and practice respectively,demonstrates that the educational assessment promotes the training of key competences of high school biology is feasibility.In theory,philosophical view of education,Tyler Rationale,situation cognition and learning theory and Taxonomy of Educational Objectives theory provide theoretical basis for the views of the article.Educative evaluation and the training of key competences have the common value in Learning view,instruction view and the view of curriculum and instruction.By promoting the performance of key competences,playing of key competences,a lifelong training of key competences,dealing with the contradiction between the training of key competences and the motivation of examination and learning,the educative evaluation can drive the key competences' training.The requirements of key competences' training provide criteria and system guarantee for educative evaluation.Educative assessment makes the training of key competences,in content,method and its' examination,more maneuverability.The training of key competences and the educative assessment work together in the process of instruction.In practice,this research takes the teaching of "explore the yeast cell's respiration in aerobic and anaerobic conditions" as an example.According to the logic-"criteria-evidence-task-standard",this study designs the instruction design which include central task,evaluation content,and criterion and evaluation index about the training of key competences from the opposite direction.Also,this study shows this implementation process of the teaching that include "establishment situation","to determine the final inquiry","design experiments","experimental operation","demonstration communication","class summary and evaluation" and "the end of the class".This study indicates that the teaching for the purpose of educative assessment can promote the training of key competences well.In addition,the author points the view that the educative assessment provides instructional design logic for the training of key competences.Educative assessment is not direct the teaching by value judgment.The learning driven by educative assessment is an exploration based on problem.That educative assessment drives the training of key competences inflects in solving problems and tasks with the view of development.
