Middle School Biology Pedagogy (MSBP) is an educational science which studies Biology teaching in middle school and also an applied science requiring frequent practices. Based on the theories of Pedagogy and Psychology, MSBP has become an independent scientific system by absorbing teaching experience and research results of modern pedagogy. Through decades' of development, MSBP has already been gaining its exclusive research methods, such as Talking, Discussing, and Inquiry Mode (IM), the focus of recent study. IM named also Discovery Teaching is scientific and related closely to Pedagogy. IM encourages teachers to create an environment to arouse students learning desire and guide them while students are required to participate and find the concepts and rules by themselves. The history of Science and Philosophy have explored the law and forms of; the Science's development and laid down the scientific foundations of Pedagogy.Based on adequate data, this paper has analyzed the theory, mode, method and application evaluation of IM by using experimental method and questionnaires. Then it has tested the application of Biology IM theory in middle school teaching. Taking the characters of IM, student centered and teacher as instructor, into consideration, this paper has also proposed the principle and evaluation standard of IM. Finally, it has discussed to what attention should be paid while using IM and teacher's role and deficits and therefore has formed a mode in middle schools' Biology teaching.
