This paper attempts an increasingly new research way-the qualitative research, the objects of the research are an art teacher of Yueyang Middle School. She is engaged in the predicative research on the curriculum of art involved in its development in senior middle school. She collected the material from July, 2003 to Februry, 2004. Methods such as on-the spot observation, investigation and collection of material objects are used in material collection. The qualitative research studies individual life and daily operation of social organization under natural circumstance. It also explains the life story and meaning of research objects. It advocates researcher take part in the research, find out details and real facts. And the quality of research objects will be assumed in the course of exposition by the researcher in a new circumstance as well as fragment reorganization. The paper reflects two different trains of thought. On one hand it describes the teacher' s experimental research through attending her lectures and investigation, it describes how she find problems, make clear problems and solve the problems. On the other hand, itdescribes a research about the teacher' s Study-behavior research. The author mainly analyzed how she dose her research, the advantages and disadvantages of her being a researcher.
