In August 2002, I was appointed to teach in Zhangjiajie National Middle School. While I was teaching there, I found a common problem among students in minority areas. Students are reluctant to speak in public places. In order to solve this problem and develop the students' ability of speaking, I carried on "an Experiment of Oral Ability Training Course".The experiment was divided into four steps: pronunciation, flow of speech, situation and communication.During the training, I have some special training courses. I tried to develop the oral ability with the training of writing, performance, oral composition, chatting, text play performance, daily life imitation and interview etc. In this way, we can fully develop the students' ability of speaking so that they are willing to say and gain the ability of speaking.
