The Research Of Mathematical Modeling Education And Vocational Mathematical Education Reform

This paper first discusses the instructional significance of Mathematical Modeling activities and the effect of Mathematical Modeling education on vocational Mathematical education. Besides, the development of Mathematical Modeling activities in our school is introduced, based on which enlightenment is gained from the investigation and analysis of the effect. We hope to further improve the educational quality and advance the reform of vocational Mathematical education better through these activities.This paper consists of five parts:The first part deals with the problems and responsibility of vocational Mathematical education as well as connotation of Mathematical Modeling and its education. At the same time, attention should be paid to some respects of vocational Mathematical education reform.In the second part, the significance of Mathematical Modeling activities in vocational Mathematical education and the effect on vocational Mathematical education reform are revealed respectively by expounding Mathematical Modeling teaching under the constructivism perspective, metacognition of Mathematical Modeling and the relationship between the development of student' s creation and Mathematical Modeling.The development of Mathematical Modeling activities in our school and some tentative ideas of future work are mainly talked about in the third part.In the fourth part, we make investigations in the effect of Mathematical Modeling education on students' attitudes toward Mathematic learning methods, academic records andlearning abilities, analyse it and draw a conclusion.Finally, Mathematical Modeling and prospect for the reform of vocational Mathematical education are elaborated.
