Since the 90's of 20 centuries, increasingly universal of the calculator network and the INTERNET of fast fierce development brings the education many brand-new opportunities. The modern educational direction is represented by long range education of the satellite, television with the technical in multi-media in calculator. The long range education has many of functional advantages, such as, "the share of educate the teaching resources, the information exchanges of internet, internet the teaching" etc. At the same time, Modern Distance Education is a kind of new education. It still exists some shortages in the aspects of theories studying and practice work, especially in our country like this an economic unbalance development the nation.But Modern Distance Education in Xinjiang still drops behind compared with that in other parts of China because of the historic, geographical, humanism, and economical reasons. We consulted many books and papers relating the Modem Distance Education, After having conducted an investigation and study, we get answers from the survey in eight aspects of schooling position, condition, layout, scale, investment, management and quality of students to reflect Modern Distance Education in the province. By using the research method of finding inner and outer factors, we discover the difficulties and problems in the Modem Distance Education such as problems or difficulties in schooling position, system of management, movement mechanism, policy and financial support. We propose some ideas in overcoming the problems or difficulties relating the situations of our province.
