The Research Of The Development Mode Of Suzhou Institute For Advanced Study, USTC

The higher education's functions such as teaching, researching, and serving the society have always been discussed as the central issue by the experts. Putting together these aspects organically is the important content investigated by higher schools with the entry of new stage.This thesis tries to analyze the development mode of Suzhou Institute for Advanced Study, USTC by two ways: theory research and case study. The analysis includes comparing schools home and abroad, learning from others, analyzing functions, allocating the position and prospecting foreground. From the analysis, we think Suzhou Institute for Advanced Study, USTC should allocate primary position in the function of research , attract the talented persons to educate, depend on the local government's policy and USTC's academic strength, collect the diverse funds, construct top course system in order to accelerate the integration of production, study and research for the local economy and search for a new increasing point for the top university.
