At the beginning of this century, the cultivation of high-school students' creativity has already become the very focus in the educational circles of the world. The core of the eighth elementary education reform in our country since the foundation of the People's Republic of China is that the spirit of creativity and the competence of the practice should be emphasized in the quality-oriented education. Hence, this thesis, taking all these into consideration, presents a systematic research of the connotation and the characteristics of creativity. Furthermore, in order to get inspiration about the math teaching in high school, this thesis theoretically studies the creativity from the viewpoint of educational psychology. Besides, considering the author's teaching experience in bringing creativity into mathematics class, the thesis thoroughly studies the teaching strategy of the cultivation of the students' creativity in the class and presents samples of successful course reforming and teaching examples.
