| Training modern legal consciousness of university student is a system program of important meaning of theory and reality. Directed by Marxism, on the base of analyze of our university students' current situation of legal consciousness and its cause of formation, this article point out the guiding ideology and basis principles of training university students' modern legal consciousness, and directly put forward the goal, mechanism, content system and achievement way of training university students' legal consciousness, in order to improve their legal quality and achieve the goal of training compound talent with high quality for realizing the socialist legal country and socialist modernization.
