Status And Countermeasures Of College Students’ Legal Education

The legal education of university students is an important part of university students’education in ideology and politics. At the same time, it’s also the major part of theconstruction of socialist law. In recent years, illegal crime cases of university student arehorribly frequent and legal education of university students admit no delay. Although thecriminal college students finally are punished, but the influence of these cases is notdisappear. Promoting the innovation and effectiveness of legal education of collegestudents have become the urgent needs of the whole society.Firstly, on the base of extensive literature research, the thesis gives a detailedexplanation of meaning, importance, development, the relationship with ideological andpolitical education and research status at home and abroad of legal education. Thencombined with the practice of our country at the present stage, the thesis mainly uses themethods of questionnaire survey, random interview and literature review to give a certainunderstanding of the legal education’s status and problems of college students. Based onthe causation, the thesis analyzes and summarizes the causes of the problems in legaleducation of university students. Finally, combining the reality of our country andbenefiting from foreign advanced experience, from the importance of family legaleducation, perfecting school legal education and regularizing social legal education, it putsforward the countermeasures and suggestions. Aiming at promoting the cultivation ofuniversity students’ legal consciousness and legal habit, enhancing the effectiveness oflegal education of college students in our country, and promoting the development of legaleducation of college students and the economy, the legal quality of university students andcultural level of development will expand in tandem.
