In the twenty-first century, our teaching goal is to cultivate and create new talents to meet the new age. Traditional education ignored cultivating students' spirits for exploration and creation. So we must carry out "Creative Education". We must combine it with each subject and class teaching. Moreover, we must put it into practice.Creative Education will lead education to creation; it is the concrete measure to urge the education improvement thoroughly.At present, the depth and width for studying the theory of creative education has reached a new level. However, we are lack of a kind of complete teaching mode.According to the theory of Creative Education, we take geography as an example and study as follows:1. Present circumstance of Creative Education.2. Concept and characteristics of creative teaching mode.3. Factors for forming geography creative teaching mode: creative teaching objective, creative teaching environment, creative teachers, creative students and creative teaching assessment.4. Creative geography teaching methods.5. Unsolved problem for this teaching mode. Feature:1. To clear up the definition of creative teaching mode.2. To summarize the characteristics for creative teaching mode.3. To discourse the principles to constitute creative teaching objective; the strategies to create democratic, equal, harmonious teaching environment; abilities for creative teachers; cultivation for creative students; standard for creative assessment and execution for kinds of creative teaching methods.To describe how to apply creative thought to geography learning.
